I was just wondering if anyone else feels more pain than they did before they got CRPS, in areas of the body unaffected by CRPS? For example, I have CRPS in my left foot, donated blood this week, and the needle in my arm and and the finger prick both hurt so much more than ever before, though I don’t have any sign of CRPS in either of those places.

The jury is out on this one

I remember this, and remember the extra pain, but this hasn’t been a consistent experience. I’ve hurt myself in non-CRPS places since then, and it’s just been normal. Some people who responded to this post at the time said that they had more pain in other areas, so who knows?

I’ll probably say this a lot – CRPS is complex and sometimes things are just weird.
