So, today we had a fire alarm go off. I work on the 16th floor and they shut the lifts off. I have CRPS primarily in my feet, and had to walk down 10 floors (randomly the ground floor is the 6th floor). I was so upset and angry by the time I got to the bottom that I vented a bit at HR, my boss (the CEO) and the fire warden.
Anyway, their solution? Next time 2 guys will carry me down. Err. No. There’s no real point to this story. It was just another realization for me that stuff is more complicated now. I am now off my feet for at least a full day, hoping the flare is little and not BIG.
