Today, I was with staff and customers from 7:15 am till about 8 pm. My foot turned black for the first time since diagnosis just over 2 years ago, probably because I was standing most of the day, and in heels. Yep, it’s my fault, but hard to do corporate wear without heels. Anyway, I’m in bed, with my feet up, and hoping a night’s rest takes most of the edge off. Tomorrow’s outfit does not involve heels but will probably be the same amount of painful – I only have one pair of shoes that I can halfway tolerate, and they are sneaker type shoes.
I can’t believe I did this much travelling!
I was back and forth to the US about 10 times a year for 2-3 years. And pretending to be totally fine the whole time I was away from home. It took a massive toll.
